PROGRAMS & CURRICULUM

All children are unique gifts from God. Serving the community since 1979

Our Program

Why kids and parents love Christ Memorial Child Care Center:

At Christ Memorial we believe that children are unique creations of God with individual patterns of growth which affect their development and that children have a natural desire to learn.  It is our responsibility to encourage children’s spiritual, emotional, social, physical, intellectual and creative development.  We also believe young children’s play experiences provide an important vehicle for lifelong learning.  Through play, children are actively engaged in their learning, develop their creativity, language skills and move from concrete to abstract thinking.

Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to nurture the whole child, focusing on social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.  We believe in play-based learning. Our hands-on, play-based approach fosters creativity, critical thinking and a love for discovery.  We help children to thrive at their own pace.  Our program helps children build confidence, teamwork skills, and independence while developing foundational academic and social abilities.  Our goal is to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond with confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.  We tailor our curriculum to be developmentally appropriate for all ages we serve:Infants – Our infant teachers focus on sensory exploration, bonding and early development milestones.
